Single Parent Ministry
The church’s vision is to get people from where they are, to a place where Godwants them to
be – and this includes our single families too! Our single parents are importantto God, and they
are important to the leadership of this church.
Our Single Family Ministry Leader is Jennifer Schwaner.
Jennifer does a great job in making sure that single parents are included andfeel loved. Being a
school teacher, Jennifer is able to exercise her talents by helping and caring forothers.
Together with her daughter Isabella, they are ready and willing to help others.This
mother/daughter team is always ready for action!
The ministry’s key verse is Psalm 30:5 “Weeping may last through thenight,
We know that God has a purpose and a great future for all parents. We believein His goodness
for hope and happiness. We believe that Joy is part of His plan forall single parents.
The Vision: Enduring with Excellence.
The Goal: For each single family to encounter the transforming love of Jesusthat leads us over
to His promises and His purpose for our lives.
What is the Single Family Ministry about?
A SFM gathering is a time and place for single parents to gather, fellowship,and support one
another. We alternate between meetings in the church and family outings thatdraw us closer
to the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your ownunderstanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
